I was testing out the Microsoft Silverlight (buggy) beta lately. Silverlight is an Internet plug-in built to compete with Flash. After installing it, I had to look around on the Web for content actually using the technology. I found some on the Showcase page Microsoft has for it<\/a>. I went through a few demos and was shocked to see this:

The icon use to symbolise the Web looked strangely familiar to me\u2026
\nOh wait!!! I remember now\u2026 Isn\u2019t it OmniWeb<\/a>? :->
\nSo what now, MS can\u2019t pay a guy to design their own icons?? They haven’t modified it a bit. It\u2019s exactly the way it is on my Dock :-><\/p>\n

Ce week-end, j’ai voulu tester le (plantog\u00e8ne) module externe Silverlight. Silverlight est la r\u00e9ponse de Microsoft \u00e0 Flash. Apr\u00e8s l’avoir install\u00e9, j’ai voulu rechercher des contenus qui utilise r\u00e9ellement cette technologie et je n’en ai trouv\u00e9 que sur le site de Microsoft. Ils ont une page de d\u00e9monstration<\/a> accessible une fois que vous avez install\u00e9 le module externe. J’ai donc jet\u00e9 un \u00c5\u201cil et j’ai \u00e9t\u00e9 extr\u00e8mement surpris de voir \u00e7a :

\nAlors quoi, MS ne peut m\u00eame pas se payer un type pour concevoir une ic\u00f4ne correcte de nos jours ?? Ils n\u2019ont m\u00eame pas modifi\u00e9 l’ic\u00f4ne d\u2019OW d’un poil.
