MacNN<\/a> announced today that the release of the next version of Office (2007) for Mac might be delayed. It should be available about eight after the release of the Windows counterpart. The new version will be Universal Binary and support all the new XML formats introduced with the new Windows version (the formats have been finalized today actually).<\/p>\n

Honestly, I did not expect it to come any earlier than that. Office for Mac always<\/i> comes out quite a few months after the Windows version (and it makes sense: they have to add a bunch of new features, support for new formats\u2026 after the Windows side makes them)<\/p>\n
